About BPM Counter (Tap Tempo)

Tap the big button (or press the space bar) in time with the music and the tool shows the average tempo in beats per minute. It also names the tempo range, such as Andante or Allegro.

Dancers and choreographers use BPM to match steps to music, and DJs and video editors use it to line up cuts.

How to use it

  1. Play your song.
  2. Tap the button or press the space bar on every beat.
  3. After four or more taps, read the BPM.
  4. Press Reset to start again with another song.
