Oct 27, 2026 · Image Prompts

Prompt
Overhead food photograph of a bowl of fresh pasta with basil and tomatoes, rustic wooden table, natural window light, steam rising, linen napkin, shallow depth of field, appetizing, high detail

Food photos succeed or fail on lighting and angle. Natural light and a few props make a dish look real and tasty.

Why this prompt works

  • Natural window light gives soft, flattering highlights.
  • Overhead angle works well for bowls and plates.
  • Steam and props add life and a sense of freshness.

How to adapt it

Change the dish to dessert, a burger or a breakfast spread. For a moody look, try dark background and side light.
